With Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain getting closer to release, more players who have skipped Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes last year will surely want to experience the prologue chapter of the full game and get a taste of the new open world gameplay created by Hideo Kojima and his team for the latest entry of the popular series.
If you are going to play the game on PC and want to do so in the near future, you may want to take advantage of a nice deal that has appeared on Amazon a few hours ago. The online retailer is currently offering the PC digital version of the game for half its usual price, $10 instead of $19.99.
If you are a PlayStation Plus subcriber, you will also be able to download and play Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes for free, as the game is part of this month’s free selection of titles. Despite its rather short length, Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is an excellent game so make sure to play it as soon as possible if you’re thinking about getting the full game when it launches this September.
Some interesting details on the character Skull Face, who briefly appears in Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, have emerged online last month thanks to an interview with actor James Horan. The actor revealed that recording for The Phantom Pain wasn’t much more work than it was for Ground Zeroes, adding that he recorded around an hour and half and that it was pretty quick since he didn’t have that much to say. This doesn’t mean that Skull Face is not going to be an important character, only that his role may not be as big as many have speculated.
Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is now available in all regions on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will finally released in all regions on all formats this September.
Amazon offer: Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes for only $10
