Age of Ultratech – stock up on cheap tech

Age of Ultratech – stock up on cheap tech
John Cusack
June 22, 2015

Age of Ultratech is an expression that you rarely hear in mainstream media, but more often hear from individuals who believe that technology has come to a point of no return – where it has taken over our lives. Taking over our lives by the age of ultratech sounds gloomy and misfortunate, but truth is, technology today is mostly here to help us. Although it would be nice to have a massive memory that can hold all kinds of contact information and more, fact of the matter is that in this day and age, you cannot avoid working with technology – on a personal level, or just doing actual work interacting with it.

GearBest has an interesting approach towards the age of ultratech theory, and the Chinese retailer is embracing it. If you’re one of those people who are comfortable with assigning tasks to a gadget, rather than a person, my friend, you are a believer in the age of ultratech. On a more serious note, although technology taking over is not a good idea, it’s still beneficial to become intertwined with tech, as long as it’s not something you wouldn’t be able to live without. Speaking of, many forget that backing data up is one of the most important things they can do, so since we’re on the topic of meddling with technology and living without it, don’t forget to back up all important data that you have on your devices, so the age of ultratech doesn’t find you unprepared.

There’s a reason for which I’m issuing the backup warning. That reason is upgrading your gear. Summer is here and retailers are holding massive tech sales, pretty much like Black Friday, because many individuals are looking to actually upgrade their gear and be a constructive member of the age of ultratech society, if I may. GearBest, who is actually embracing the idea of tech taking a turn for the future, once again, is holding some of these massive flash sales, and you should go check them out, you might be surprised. Pleasantly or not, it’s your call.

During Age of Ultratech, the Xiaomi MI4i is only $248

The gist of it is that GearBest’s age of ultratech sale consists of three day flash sales per brand. Each brand is on sale (most of its devices) for three days, after which another brand’s turn comes to be discounted massively. Today, for example, is the Xiaomi sale, which you have to check out. It lasts until tomorrow, June 24, so hurry up and get your orders in if you’re a Xiaomi fan or are looking to check out gadgets from one of the biggest smartphone company on the market. You can get great deals on headphones, home automation products, Xiaomi action cameras and various accessories. Brands like JJRC, Sigelei and Chuwi are also on sale.

Starting June 24, however, Age of Ultratech will greet Huawei, Cheerson and more as the headliners for the discounts section. The main page, where you will land if you follow that link I gave you above, will also show you current promotions for various devices, gadgets and accessories. Today, for example, you can browse through Elephone devices, Xiaomi devices and all the highlights from the brands that are part of the three-day flash sale that’s going on. Speaking of Elephone devices, definitely make sure you check out the 5.5-inch P7000 with octa-core processor and Android 5.0 Lollipop right off the bat for only $210. Also worth checking out here are the S2 (huge discount of more than $200!) and the P6000 (smaller discount but definitely a great phone).

I would recommend you guys take a look at all the deals that you can find there and make a list of the things that might be worth your money. I would recommend stocking up on Xiaomi products, seeing as they’re both high quality and affordable. While I’m not familiar with JJRC and Sigelei, I’ve heard positive things about them, so a look wouldn’t hurt. Let us know which brands you are most interested in during the age of ultratech flash sale on GearBest! We’re happy about Xiaomi and Elephone the most!
