Every year Apple introduces a new iOS and a new iPhone. Apple’s first 5G iPhone, iPhone 12 series will have a model with a 5.4-inch display diagonal and the front notch. All models of the iPhone 12 will have 5G modem, OLED displays, and 5nm Apple A14 processors. The 5.4″ display was a truly unexpected decision. Apple has never used that size before. iPhone SE is 4.7″ and other iPhone models are from 6.1″. So, 5.4 will be right in the middle. Here are some more details on iOS 14 settings and the 5.4″ screen. iOS 14 will have a Display Zoom option. The smallest display with a notch was iPhone X, which has a 5.8″ display diagonal, and the interface was adjusted to 5.8″ with a notch. iPhone XS Max, and 11 Pro Max offer Digital Zoom and can make everything larger. If iOS 14 settings provide any hints on what the resolution of the new iPhone is, it’s probably 960 x 2079 pixels. iPone X, XS, and 11 have 1125 x 2436 pixel displays. 5.4″ is the kind of size so many fans, who do not want screens that are too large, have been waiting for. Along with 5G, the display size might be the huge change that Apple is preparing.

iPhone 12 leak reveals Sept. 8 launch dateAs always, people start speculating about the new iPhone’s size and shape, its settings, and design long before Apple gives any information. Reportedly, the company will announce the new iPhone 12 in September but will not start selling it until later in October. Apple is also expected to organize a separate event dedicated to Mac hardware. This year’s announcement will happen online on September 8th. Along with an iPhone, Apple will announce Apple Watch 6, new iPads, and AirPower wireless charger. These are just rumors, and even though Apple has been pretty consistent with announcing the new iPhone in September, such delay in the shipment has not happened before. There is no logical explanation for why Apple would hold an event a month earlier. The event is going to be online and will most likely be pre recorded. If there were delays with the production Apple could easily reschedule the online event.
