Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, the latest MMORPG entry of the Final Fantasy series released a while back on Sony consoles and PC, is going to receive plenty of new features soon thanks to the Heavensward expansion. New details on this new expansion have emerged earlier today online thanks to the latest Letter from the Producer live broadcast, where producer Naoki Yoshida revealed the new details himself.
According to the Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn producer, players getting the Heavensward expansion will be able to create characters of the new Au Ra race right from the very beginning as well as enjoy an increased level cap for Chocobos and increased inventory capacity for retainers. Yoshida san has also confirmed that Heavensward will include new attractions for the Gold Saucer, which has been introduced to the game back in February with a highly anticipated patch, as well as 20 new Triple Triads cards, new features that should please those who like spending time in the game by doing these side activities.
New details have also emerged on the three new jobs included in the game – Dark Knight, Machinist and Astrologian. Apparently these three jobs will have primal weapons but not Zodiac weapons like other jobs.
The Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn Heavensward expansion will bring several new features and new content which will expand the already extensive gameplay experience of the MMORPG developed by Square Enix. Chief among the new additions will be the already mentioned new jobs, the new Au Ra race and much more. If you’re still enjoying this excellent game, you really need to get the expansion once it becomes available to enjoy the game even more than before.
Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is now available on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PC in all regions. The Heavensward expansion will be released on June 23rd on all formats and in all regions.
