A couple of days back we have reported that the classic Nintendo 64 game The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time is going to be released this week on the European Wii U eShop. However it looks like the classic entry of the Zelda series isn’t going to be the only classic Nintendo game to be released this week, as the Japanese company just confirmed that an older entry of the Fire Emblem series will also be released this week in Europe.
The game in question is Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon, originally released on Nintendo DS a few years ago. The game, the remake of the first entry of the Fire Emblem series, will be available from this Thursday, July 2nd, for the price of €9.99 / £8.99.
Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon plays pretty much like several other entries of the series, with players controlling a variety of units to defeat enemies and win battles in a tactical role-playing game experience. The game does come with a couple features that were not available in the original release and its first remake, such as some classes not included in these releases and the ability to reclass units. The number of available characters has also been increased from the original, with some of them only being available by completing some specific tasks during battles. Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon is also the first entry of the series to feature a multiplayer mode, where players can use up to five characters from the story mode and toggle a variety of options such as time limit, turn limits and more.
Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon will be released this week on the Wii U eShop in Europe. A North American release has yet to be confirmed, but we will let you know more about the matter as soon as possible so stay tuned for all the latest news.
