Dragon Ball Xenoverse, the new game based on the Dragon Ball series released earlier this year on consoles and PC in all regions, is one of the few Dragon Ball games that tries to do something different, offering a story that utilizes the series canon in a really interesting way. Some might not like Dragon Ball Xenoverse’s gameplay but there’s no denying that it’s one of the more unique games based on the series ever released.
If you’re among those who haven’t played the game yet and you’re thinking about getting it soon for PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, you might want to check out a new deal on the game which has surfaced online a few hours ago. This new Best Buy deal is currently offering Dragon Ball Xenoverse on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One for $39.99. The price drop isn’t all that big but it’s definitely better than nothing, considering Dragon Ball games take a long time to receive bigger price drops.
Earlier this week Bandai Namco has launched a brand new Dragon Ball Xenoverse survey which allows players to express their opinion on the game. Data gathered from the survey will surely help the developers improve the Dragon Ball Xenoverse gameplay formula if a sequel is ever going to be developed.
Last month Dragon Ball Xenoverse received its third and final DLC pack. This pack included four new playable characters – Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Goku, Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Vegeta, Golden Frieza and Jaco the Galactic Patroller -, 5 new Parallel Quests, 2 new Masters, 8 new Masters Quests, 14 new special moves, 2 new Accessories and 7 Z-Souls which can be used to customize the player created character. Costumes inspired by the Resurrection “F” movie were also announced for the pack, but they have been released for free for everyone before the DLC pack became available in all regions.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse is now available in all regions on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC. The Best Buy deal will not be available for much longer so make sure to take advantage of it as soon as possible.
