The Xbox One Backward Compatibility feature has been one of the best surprises revealed recently for Xbox One owners, as the feature will allow them to play many of their Xbox 360 titles on their new console. The feature will become available for everyone in a few months and the full list of titles that will be compatible is rapidly expanding. Earlier today a new Xbox 360 title that will be playable on Xbox One through Backward Compatibility has been revealed, a game that will make fans of character action games happy.
Endgadget Japan has confirmed today that Bayonetta will be among the Xbox One Backward Compatibility supported titles. The Xbox 360 version of the game developed by Platinum Games is still considered as the best version so this is really good news indeed for all fans of action games. Unfortunately we don’t know when the game will actually become playable through the feature but we will surely learn more about the matter soon.
Bayonetta has been originally released on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 a few years back, before getting ported on Wii U last year. Back when the game was released, the Xbox 360 version was the way to go since it features a more stable framerate and overall better perfomance. The PlayStation 3 version later received a patch fixing some issues but the game is still far from being perfect even with all the fixes.
Bayonetta has also received a sequel last year. Bayonetta 2, now available as a Wii U exclusive title in all regions, vastly improves on the gameplay experience of its predecessor, introducing even more epic battles as well as several new weapons and gameplay mechanics, such as the Umbran Climax, which give players more battle options. As the game would have not existed without Nintendo, as revealed by producer Atsushi Inaba, there’s practically no chance of the game getting released on other platforms.
The Xbox One Backward Compatibility list of supported titles is getting expanded constantly and we will let you know about any other popular title getting added to it as soon as possible so stay tuned for all the latest news.
