It’s been a long wait for Dragon Ball fans in North America and Europe waiting for Dragon Ball Z Extreme Butoden, the fighting game developed by Arc System Works based on the series. The game has been released in Japan a few months ago and the game will finally be released on Nintendo 3DS in Europe and North America in just a few days

In a new press release, Nintendo has confirmed that Dragon Ball Z Extreme Butoden will be made available on the 3DS eShop in Europe on October 16th. The game will be available for the price of €39.99 / £29.99. Included in the download will also be a free Dragon Ball Z Extreme Butoden 3DS Home menu theme and the SNES classic game Dragon Ball Z: Super Butoden 2. If you aren’t thinking about purchasing Dragon Ball Z Extreme Butoden anytime soon, but would like to get the exclusive 3DS Home menu theme based on the game, it will also be possible to purchase it separately for the price of €1.99 / £1.69.

As mentioned above, all those purchasing Dragon Ball Z Extreme Butoden digitally will also receive the classic SNES game Dragon Ball Z: Super Butoden 2. The game is the second entry of the series which has originally only been released in Japan and France. One of the more unique features of the game is the Story Mode, which can change depending on the player’s victories and losses.

Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden is now available in Japan exclusively on Nintendo 3DS. The game will be released on October 16th in Europe and a few days later, on October 20th, in North America. A playable demo is also available right now so make sure to download it if you want to see for yourself how the fighting game developed by Arc System Works plays.
