Not so long ago Square Enix had a closed beta for their upcoming game Dissidia Final Fantasy NT. If you were one of the unfortunate parties that couldn’t play in it. Don’t fret, there will be an open beta for everyone interested in playing NT before launch.
For those worried about things such as regional locking, the open beta will be available in America and Europe. Also, the open beta will take place on January 12. Players who want to enjoy the game will be able to do so until January 21.
Now, what’s going to be available for the Open Beta? Well, if this goes close to Japan’s Open Beta we can expect to be able to play different multiplayer and single-player modes from the get-go with a limited roster.
Class Match is the mode that lets you go into 3v3 battles in a party. lass Match (Solo) is for solo-queues to go against other players on your own, while Class Match (Party) lets you team up with a friend and take on other players together.
Players will also be able to get their characters tweaked in Customization Mode. In here, you’ll be able to customize the EX Skills, Character Skins, Symbol Chats and even the battle BGM for your future battles against other parties.
While there was limited access to the Story Mode in the Japanese Open Beta. This feature will allow players to unlock lost memories and experience battles by the warriors. The “Memoria” required to unlock those memories can be obtained by increasing your P.LV.
Finally, the roster will include characters such as Warrior of Light, Firion, Onion Knight, Terra, Cloud, Squall, Lightning among others. We’ll probably also get to be able to use Summons such as Ifrit, Shiva, and Odin. If you want a basic guide for the new Dissidia game, we got you covered.
