We’ve known for a while now that The World Ends With You would be coming to Nintendo Switch via the Final Remix port, but the price point has been a constant question mark. While it at one point seemed like it would be as high as $59.99, it looks like the final price has finally been confirmed.
Numerous retailers have updated the game’s product page, revealing that the game’s MSRP will be $49.99. Amazon Prime members will be getting a nice discount on the game, which will bring the price down to $40. This is much more reasonable for a game that was originally a DS game that launched last decade.
The following is the official product description from the Amazon page:
“This 2007 Nintendo DS game has been updated for Nintendo Switch with HD visuals and a new epilogue that sheds new light on the game’s story. Players can join rhythmic battles using either Joy-Con Controllers or the Nintendo Switch touch screen.”
When the game originally launched for the DS 10 years ago, it received rave reviews and was considered by many to be one of the best games for the handheld. The game was then updated for an iOS release in 2012, and that version received similar acclaim.
