Stardew Valley is headed for a new platform, as developer ConcernedApe has announced that the game is coming to mobile devices. The game will launch on iOS via the App Store on October 24 for $7.99, with the Android version coming at a later date.
This mobile port of the game is being handled by London-based mobile development studio The Secret Police. This is the full version of the game and has not been simplified in the slightest, with the only major difference being that it has been optimized for touch controls. It features 1.3 single player including the Night Market, but multiplayer is not included.
The developer also wants to make it clear that the development of the mobile ports has not impacted the development of the console multiplayer ports in the slightest. The two projects are being handled by two completely different teams, and the console multiplayer ports are apparently making great progress. The Switch multiplayer update has entered quality assurance testing, with the PS4 and Xbox One versions soon to follow. All of this is being handled by Sickhead Games. More news on release information on these versions will be coming in the near future.
An announcement trailer for the mobile version of Stardew Valley was also released, which you can check out below.
