The Norse action adventure game called Fimbul is set to release very soon on certain platforms, publisher EuroVideo and developer Zaxis Games has announced. The game is set to debut on PlayStation 4 and PC on November 29th, with the Switch version set for an early 2019 release.
What’s interesting to note here is that the Xbox One version of the game was not mentioned at all, despite the fact that it was previously announced for the platform. We’ll have to wait and see if that version is coming even later in 2019 or if it’s been canceled entirely.
A new release date announcement trailer for the PS4 and PC versions was also released, which you can check out at the bottom of this post. The following is a description from the trailer:
“Fimbul is a single-player comic-book, action adventure. Set in the final winter before Ragnarök, The Fimbul Winter. You play as an old berserk, travelling to Jötunheim to fulfill his destiny, battling Trolls and Jotuns to reclaim an ancient artifact that might, just might save Midgard.”
Fimbul launches for PlayStation 4 and PC on November 29th. You can get more information on the game from official website, Facebook and Twitter pages. Be sure to check out the release date announcement trailer below.
