PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) has made its way to multiple platforms now, but it has yet to make its debut on PlayStation 4. We’ve known that it would eventually make its way to the platform, and now it looks like it will be making its PS4 debut in the near future.
The game’s icon and dashboard image was spotted on the PlayStation servers recently, which is a pretty good indicator that it’s coming soon. This was then followed by a ratings leak in Korea and a report from Eurogamer suggesting a December 6th release. This release would put it as the same day as the Game Awards, meaning that they’ll likely make the announcement at the event.
The following is an overview of the game from the Steam page:
“PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS is a battle royale shooter that pits 100 players against each other in a struggle for survival. Gather supplies and outwit your opponents to become the last person standing.
PLAYERUNKNOWN, aka Brendan Greene, is a pioneer of the battle royale genre and the creator of the battle royale game modes in the ARMA series and H1Z1: King of the Kill. At PUBG Corp., Greene is working with a veteran team of developers to make PUBG into the world’s premiere battle royale experience.”
PUBG is available now on PC and Xbox One.
