With the release of Colossal Cave, renowned game designers Ken and Roberta Williams make a triumphant comeback. This first-person, 3D remake of the game is based on the text adventure from the late 1970s. Since the original is regarded as one of the most influential games of all time, this more recent homage ought to be at least a fun diversion. You’re in luck if you want to give it a try because the PS5 version of the game launched today, January 19, 2023. There will soon be a PS4 version as well.
Exploring a strange network of caves is the focus of the game Colossal Cave, where you’ll meet friendly and unfriendly characters and find a variety of hidden treasures. It appears that the game will eventually receive a PSVR2 version in addition to the usual PS5 release. Although there isn’t yet a release date set, a now-removed trailer seen by Gematsu essentially guarantees that it will work with Sony’s new hardware.
