This year, Nippon Ichi Software (often abbreviated as NIS) marks its 30th birthday. As a result, the Japanese company, which is currently probably best known for the Disgaea series, has confirmed a special anniversary livestream for Monday, January 30, at 6 PM UK time, 1 PM Eastern time, and 10 AM Pacific time. Now that NIS America (NISA), the company’s Western division, is organizing this event, featured announcements will be made with audiences outside of Japan in mind. “New NIS game announcements, new merch, and giveaways” have been promised.
It’s possible that Disgaea 7, which was announced back in August, will receive a localization announcement. At the time of writing, the strategy role-playing game is launching in Japan tomorrow. Beyond that, we’re unsure of what might lie ahead.
