April 7, 2017

The team at Microsoft has revealed the dates for their annual Xbox Live Spring Sale. From April 11 – 17, Xbox One and Xbox 360 owners can take advantage of digital savings on over 350 different offers for games, TV, movies and music. Consumers can save up to 67 percent on the various offers with Xbox Live Gold Members able to save an additional 10 percent. On top of that, upgrading from a Silver account to a Gold account will only cost $1 for the first month.

Some of the games shown off in the video below include Overwatch, Watchdogs 2 and Halo Wars 2 to only name a small few. Some of the title art presented in the video shows deals on games such as Rainbow Six Siege, Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Red Dead Redemption. Some of these games such as Recore and Gears of War 4 are also part of Xbox’s Play Anywhere initiative allowing gamers to play select games on both their Xbox One and Windows 10 PC. Aside from the many game deals, the video shows some of the other content available to save on. These include the movie Arrival, the Beauty and the Beast soundtrack from this year’s film and even what appears to be Adobe Photoshop.

Probably the deal that stands out the most, for those interested can save $15 on their own custom controller from the Xbox Design Labs. These controllers are completely customized on the website allowing the creator to choose colors for various components, the style of all of the buttons and even laser engraving their Gamertag onto the controller at an additional cost. Outside of the sale, these controller will run you about $79.99 before tax and shipping.

Check out the video and keep an eye out next week for the Spring Sale on April 11th.

Movies and video games are what I am all about. I consume any genre and love experiencing all kinds of games and film. From the last two sentences I think it is pretty clear what I write about.
