HBO’s The Last of Us adaptation is proving to be quite a hit; just the first episode alone used synergy to significantly increase video game sales while also attracting a record number of viewers.
The drama continued to break records this week, with Variety reporting that there had been a 22% increase in viewers between the first episode’s opening night audience of 4.7 million and the second episode’s audience of 5.7 million. Visit this page to read our review of Episode 2.
As is now tradition, we also got a teaser of next week’s episode, this time giving us an extended look at grizzled survivor Bill, played by Nick Offerman, who is perhaps best known for playing grizzled Parks Director Ron Swanson in the excellent comedy series Parks & Recreation.
Is The Last of Us’s potential for a major breakthrough really limitless? What do you think of Bill and the limited amount of Frank that we see?
