One of the best video game adaptations currently available is HBO’s The Last of Us television series. You can read our weekly episode reviews for the first two of the show’s nine episodes that will tell the story of the 2013 Naughty Dog classic. However, like any good adaptation, the show makes some interesting changes to the original material, particularly in regards to the infected.
Since many of the scariest moments in The Last of Us revolve around non-zombie zombies, it was obvious that something needed to be done to keep the horror alive on television. Fortunately, if you’ve been perplexed about how the infected in the show and the video games differ, we’ve clarified it all in a helpful video for you, over on the Push Square YouTube channel.
We adore a few of the significant lore changes that were made, and it would be fantastic to see some of these changes implemented in the rumored The Last of Us: Part 3 release. What do you think of these adjustments, though?
