After months of teasing, Gorillaz have finally announced their new album. Twitter is going wild after a tweet posted by the group’s official twitter earlier today.

They’ve also given us a look at the official album cover
Humanz will be released on April 28th, and there was a big list of collaborators published via Instagram that have us pretty excited. Expect to hear from the likes of Grace Jones, Carly Simon, Pusha T, Mavis Staples, Danny Brown and D.R.A.M.
This album is the followup to the Gorillaz’ last release back in 2010 – Plastic Beach. According to Mashable, the band will premiere the entire album live at a secret event in London at some point today. The event is completely sold out, sorry fans! If you weren’t special enough to get into this super exclusive event, you have something else to look forward to. Gorillaz is hosting a music festival, Demon Dayz, in June.
