Recently this year Tumblr made it easier for its users to search for GIFs by building a GIF search and insert feature that helps you choose what GIF to post by simply clicking the plus sign. Today to make the whole GIF experience even more accessible, Tumblr updated its iOS app by adding a GIF maker feature. This new tool helps you process videos or photo bursts inside your Tumblr mobile app without you having to create your GIF by using other image processor software.
With GIF maker, the tool that is situated right under the photo option of the Tumblr mobile app, you can select any video or photo and start picking up its portions, crop or zoom and adjust the speed of the GIF you are creating.
Obviously Tumblr made it easier to create a GIF because the process is less time consuming and more efficient because your creating the GIF in a few seconds while posting it on Tumblr instantly. The GIF maker feature was released today on the iOS Tumblr app and people have already started to post their creations. Apple users seem to be more fortunate because the Android Tumblr app doesn’t have the GIF maker tool updated yet, although it will be available as soon as possible.
