Genshin Impact introduces an Alchemy Tycoon Sim and Cat Café in its upcoming update for PS5 and PS4
The upcoming update for Genshin Impact, set to release on March 13th, will have a lighter tone compared to previous versions. It will center around a new event in Monstadt, where players will be in charge of managing an alchemy shop. Players will oversee all aspects of production in the business management simulation game, from growing ingredients to creating potions and selling them to customers.
The official description states: “As revenue grows, players have the opportunity to expand their business by acquiring additional operational facilities and high-quality potion bottles to increase the business’s reach and the variety of potions available for sale. Players have the opportunity to encounter well-known characters and negotiate with them. As anticipated, there are prizes available, such as a 4-star polearm.
There’s more to anticipate: two new minigames, one based on a cat café, involve interior decorating and taking care of your feline friends. This one resembles Puzzle Bobble, where you shoot colored slime from a cannon to set off chain reactions. The rewards improve as your score increases.
In addition to the new 5-star character Chiori, a fashion designer seen around Fontaine in recent events, players have more content to explore. This character is a geo-based sword wielder who can summon an automaton to fight with her. One interesting aspect is that when she is in your party, equipping one of her allies with a different outfit will grant a 10% increase in movement speed.
She is set to lead the initial phase of the update with Arataki Itto, with Neuvillette and Kaedehara Kazuha joining in the latter part. Introducing a new event wish where you can select from a lineup of past 5-star characters and weapons, including Albedo, Eula, Mona, Klee, Diluc, and Jean. Introducing a new Training Guide feature designed to assist new players in getting started, showcasing the optimal weapons for specific characters and how to enhance them.

ReFantazio Takes a Different Approach to Romance, Setting Itself Apart from the Persona Games
Atlus’ highly anticipated RPG, Metaphor: ReFantazio, appears to incorporate familiar systems reminiscent of the developer’s acclaimed Persona series. The game features turn-based battles that heavily rely on exploiting enemy weaknesses. Additionally, players have the ability to summon warrior spirits during combat. However, the most significant aspect of this game, which will be discussed in this article, is the bonding system. Through this system, players can spend time with important characters and gain deeper insights into their personalities and stories.
In contrast to the Persona games, the bonding system ends at that point. Unfortunately, players will be unable to pursue romantic relationships with their beloved waifus, which may come as a disappointment to those who have developed strong feelings for Hulkenberg, the party’s charismatic red-haired elven knight.
According to Siliconera, the absence of romance came up during a recent question and answer session. Atlus emphasized the continued opportunity to develop meaningful relationships with your allies while also introducing additional narratives through substories. In addition, familiarizing yourself with the supporting characters will grant you access to new archetypes, which serve as the game’s character classes.
In the Persona games, romance is not obligatory; rather, it serves as a means to customize your playthrough. However, it is quite unexpected that Metaphor has chosen not to pursue such a venture, considering the significant amount of discussion it typically generates!
Were you anticipating any romantic elements in Metaphor? If you’re not satisfied with your pre-order, feel free to share your thoughts in the comments section below.

However, what’s interesting is that Shift Up has confirmed through the comments section that this will be the case in all regions.
