Ghost Recon: Wildlands was wildly successful, and Ubisoft is committed to capitalizing on that success and adding as much content as they can to keep the hype high and players logging in. The Narco Road DLC will launch for Season Pass Holders next week, marking the first DLC for the fledgling shooter. The expansion will launch on April 18th for the season pass holders and a week later on April 25th for $15 for all other players.
There’s a decent amount of content coming with the DLC, including new weapons, targets, outfits, and four new vehicle types – the motorcycle, aerobatic plane, monster truck, and nitro-boosted muscle car.
Obviously the most important thing about a DLC is the content, and Ghost Recon: Wildlands’ The Narco Road DLC is not short on that. The addon will add a total of 15 new campaign missions, 4 side missions, and a variety of racing challenges aimed at adding new followers to the game. As players add more followers to their posse, they further ingratiate themselves with the new gang bosses added to the game (which you’ll later take down).
There are three new bosses added to Ghost Recon: Wildlands which players will need to earn the trust of in order to more easily infiltrate the El Invisible gangs. Each new gang boss comes with a gang with its own identy: The Jinetes Locos, The Death Riders, and the Kamikazes.
Those that aren’t interested in The Narco Road DLC will be happy to hear that a free update is also coming soon to Ghost Recon: Wildlands. The update will add weekly “live season challenges” each offering unique rewards for community, co-op, and solo tasks. The challenges will last six weeks with a different theme each week.
Ghost Recon: Wildlands is available now for PC, Playstation 4, and Xbox One.
