The “Final Fantasy” series is one of Square Enix’s most expansive titles to date. A total of 15 main games and a myriad of spinoffs under its belt popularized the iconic saga. Because of this, the announcement of “Dissidia Final Fantasy NT” threw the gaming community into a wild frenzy.

True to the hype, the trailer didn’t disappoint. Protagonists such as the Warrior of Light up to Y’shtola made appearances, appealing to fans of every installment of the saga. Both role-playing game (RPG) and arcade gamers will have something to appreciate from the crossover brawl. Despite that, there are still opportunities that need addressing.

The HUD looks too busy

First of all, the cluttered user interface (UI) irked some players, as seen in the YouTube comments. Creating more space for the actual battle by minimizing unnecessary elements in the display can help. How Square Enix manages to pull this off may be a challenge, but the fact it bothered some gamers is a big deal.

“Dissidia Final Fantasy NT’s” fighters

Another point to consider is the roster.  Over 20 confirmed fighters make up the current lineup in the official website. This is a lot less compared to the PlayStation Portable (PSP) version, which boasts over 30. While it states more are coming, it remains a mystery if the new ones are regular or DLC fighters. Nonetheless, the developers need to be wise in striking a balance between regular and DLC characters, or it may end sour.

The game is coming in early 2018, or is it?

Last but not the least is the timeline. “Dissidia Final Fantasy NT arrives exclusively to PS4 in early 2018. Square Enix needs to follow through with that promise without compromising quality. The fan base can no longer take another delay, and in this argument “Final Fantasy VII Remake” and “Kingdom Hearts 3” comes to mind.

The collaboration project with Koei Tecmo Games and Team Ninja undoubtedly holds a huge potential. Will it live up to the excitement and be everything the community expects? That’s something everyone will have to watch out for in early 2018.

Immersing oneself in realistic worlds using the impressive capabilities of Sony’s PSVR2 headset is undeniably fantastic. However, there are instances where stylized visuals can prove to be more effective. Sushi Ben seems to have a good grasp on the concept of delivering a manga-inspired world, which will be available starting on May 28th. This lively release from Big Brane offers a delightful collection of mini-games, allowing players to immerse themselves in the charming atmosphere of a coastal town.

In order to prevent the local sushi bar from going out of business, you’ll have to lend a hand to the local townsfolk and engage in a range of activities to boost trade. As one would anticipate, fishing is the main focus as you embark on angling adventures to catch various types of fish in order to satisfy your customers’ desires.

And that’s not all! There is a wide array of activities to immerse yourself in, such as table tennis, bug-catching, dog walking, archery, and more. Each of these experiences fully utilizes the innovative motion-controlled gameplay that is exclusive to PSVR2. The manga art style in this game is truly impressive, featuring dynamic pop-up comic book panels and other visually stunning elements.
