Jayson Tatum had a historic Game 7 performance.

Tatum absolutely dominated the game as the Boston Celtics defeated the Philadelphia 76ers 112-88, scoring 51 points on 17-of-28 shooting, adding 13 rebounds and five assists. In the third quarter, Tatum in particular turned things up, scoring 17 points while the Sixers could only muster 10.

Even by the Celtics’ postseason standards, Tatum had a fantastic game. It surpasses Stephen Curry’s previous record of 50 points in Game 7 and is the highest point total ever. Tatum joins Paul Pierce, Sam Havlicek, and one Larry Bird as the only other Celtics player in playoff history with at least 40 points and 10 rebounds in a contest. Tatum is the only member of the Celtics to record that line in a game that could result in elimination, and he is the only one to do so with 50 points or more. He joins Jamal Murray, Russell Westbrook, Rick Barry, and Wilt Chamberlain as the only other players to have at least 50 points, 10 rebounds, and five assists in an NBA playoff game.

The Miami Heat and Jimmy Butler, who is now in full “Playoff Jimmy” mode, will play the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference finals.

Make it right JT!!! AGAIN!
