Dark Souls 2, the latest entry of the Souls series developed by From Software, has been originally released on consoles and PC around a year ago. Despite coming with features that some long time fans of the series didn’t exactly like, the From Software role playing game has managed to become quite successful in a very short amount of time, proving that challenging games can be successful on the market if well crafted.
All those who haven’t been able to play the original Dark Souls 2 have recently been given a second chance with Dark Souls 2 – Scholar of the First Sin, released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC as well as old gen consoles in all regions. The new version of the game comes with several enhancements and gameplay tweaks that vastly improve the experience and offer something new even to those who have mastered the vanilla release.
If you haven’t had the chance to experience Dark Souls 2 – Scholar of the First Sin yet and want to do so in the very near future while spending a bit less, you will be happy to know that the From Software action role playing game is now available for purchase for a slightly reduced price on Best Buy. The retailer is currently offering the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions game for $49.99 instead of $59.99, with the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions also getting the same $10 price cut. This deal isn’t a really huge one but it’s still decent enough for those planning to get the game soon.
Dark Souls 2 – Scholar of the First Sin is going to receive a new patch in the coming weeks which will bring some gameplay tweaks as well as fix the really annoying weapon degradation issue in the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC versions of the game. Other fixes will also be included in the patch, fixes that should make the experience smoother than before.
Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin is now available on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.
