Nowadays, all piano enthusiasts can access different types of piano programs on the internet like Virtual Piano or bgfl.org. Programs in which you play piano on your computer by using your keyboard, but sometimes it can get confusing or difficult to use a normal keyboard, yet today you have a new option, Keys, the smart keyboard you can connect to your phone or computer. With Keys not only can you play piano but it also help you learn songs in a fun and interactive way. Opho created this smart keyboard and also the Keys app, which resembles Guitar Hero or Rock Band.
The awesome part of it, is that the keys have LEDs embedded in them to light them up in the same color that’s shown on the app, for the note you need to press. The keyboard is simplified by having 24 keys with 2 initial octaves which you can swipe to change if you want a higher or a lower octave. Two smart keyboards can be put one besides the other to make a bigger platform adjusted through Opho’s wireless technology. It is build to be connected to a power source but also has batteries which work for several days. Also, the app contains a number of free songs you can learn and you can also buy more songs with 1 dollar each.
Keep in mind that Keys is a device made for beginners but can also be used by professionals. Basically, it’s a low-cost MIDI device you can easily take it with you wherever you want with your phone or laptop and learn or produce music. This is not the first musical gadget that Opho made, they have also launched in 2012 at Disrupt the gTar, a guitar-like gadget helping people to improve their guitar skills.
