Rocket League has really surprised players all over the world with its engaging gameplay experience, managing to become one of the more successful titles of the past few months. Team Psyonix has been working hard to add more content and features to the game and more will be coming with the next update releasing in the very near future.
On the Rocket League official Twitter profile, the team has confirmed that the next update, update 1.05, is going to be released in around two weeks and that it will include a Find New Match new option in the Ranked endgame screen, an option that will make finding a new match much smoother than before.
Back in July, a new Rocket League reporting tool has been launched by the team. This tool has been used by the team to learn more about issues players are encountering when playing the game and work on fixes as soon as possible.
Rocket League has been released a few months back only on PlayStation 4 and PC but there’s the chance it may be released on other formats in the future. A few months back the team confirmed that they are open to release the game on other platforms but such releases depend on time, demand and resources since the team is quite small. The announcement of SteamOS and Linux support last week is definitely good news for those who want to play Rocket League on other platforms.
Rocket League is the sequel to Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars and sports a similar gameplay experience. In Rocket League players control a rocket-powered car and use it hit a ball in the attempt to send it in the other team’s goal area to score points. The game is made even more engaging by the multiplayer cross-platform features, allowing those playing the game on PS4 to play together with those playing on PC and vice versa.
Rocket League is now available in all regions on PlayStation 4 and PC. We will keep you updated on future patches and content as soon as possible so stay tuned for all the latest news.
