Flying Wild Hog surprised many with Shadow Warrior 1 and 2. The titles presented themselves as first-person weapon slinging, but with Duke Nukem-esque quips and dialogue. What we didn’t expect was a heartfelt story for our hero, Lo Wang, and his less than polite jokes. As such, the success of the series has led to the sequel getting post-launch DLC.
The latest series of free add-ons will be released sometime later this week on PC, according to the game’s official Twitter account. The Tweet included a picture of the infamous purple and black rabbits and mentions, “The next free Shadow Warrior 2 DLC hits later this week…who wants some more Wang?” It looks likely the upcoming additions will include these furry monstrosities in some way. How exactly has yet to be determined. For those unaware, if you come across these rabbits and kill them in either game while they’re…uhhh…copulating, expect a demon hell spawn version of the cute critter you just ended to come back and attack you something fierce.

Sadly, still no word on the Xbox One or PlayStation 4 version. That expected release date is still early 2017. This new DLC follows The Way of the Wang released back in December. That add-on included arena-based trials with gruesome combat and silly commentary. It included several new missions and a special weapon called Fist of Gozu if you completed them all.
Shadow Warrior 2 was released on October 13th, 2016 for PC and Steam. It received nearly universal acclaim. Are you looking forward to the new DLC or are you still waiting on the console versions? Let us know!
