The highlight of the PSVR2 demo at CES was Horizon Call of the Mountain

It has been reported that both Horizon Call of the Mountain and PSVR2 will have demo stations on the CES 2023 show floor. The guests may test out the next-generation device ahead of its availability at the end of next month thanks to Sony’s statements from yesterday night’s keynote. Testers are seen sporting the headset next to presentational stands where every piece of the kit is on display, giving the impression that it is free to stroll up and play (or perhaps you need to make an appointment).

Horizon Call of the Mountain is displayed on various trial stations, as captured by Twitter user @Zuby Tech. The headset itself appears sleek and is supported by plastic stands.
Gran Turismo 7 will reportedly support the PSVR2 in some capacity, however it’s unknown whether Polyphony Digital has only one mode planned or is allowing the entire game to be played in VR. Additionally, the PSVR2 headset’s first title, Beat Saber, was revealed at CES 2023. Along with launch games like the aforementioned Horizon Call of the Mountain, PSVR2 will be available on February 22, 2023.

Despite Leak, GTA 6 Trailer Reaches 50 Million Views in 10 Hours

We expected it to be big, but this big? Only ten hours after Rockstar unceremoniously released GTA 6’s trailer after an unexpected leak, it has over 50 million views. This video is the top trending video on YouTube worldwide, ignoring mirrors from IGN and Gamespot.
Instead of waiting until later today, the developer released the first footage of the latest Grand Theft Auto after a watermarked version leaked on Twitter. The team is understandably upset, but the video’s overwhelming response will reassure it. It has 50 million views and 6.5 million likes.
This could reach 100 million by the end of the day as it’s shared worldwide and fans search for Easter eggs and secrets. How many times have you seen the new trailer?

Three New PS Plus Essential Games Are Available Now

PS Plus Essential members can redeem three more PS5 and PS4 games on the PS Store now. LEGO 2K Drive, PowerWash Simulator, and Sable are available until January 2, 2024. These are available to UK and European users now, and the US will follow later today.
58% of nearly 10,000 users called this month’s selection “crap.” If you think the lineup is decent, LEGO 2K Drive and PowerWash Simulator are your top picks. The monthly PS Plus update will bring more games to PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers in a few weeks.

Developer laments GTA 6 trailer leak #ThisF***ingSucks

Rockstar was about to release the biggest video game trailer ever when it was abruptly halted. An anonymous Twitter account uploaded a low-quality Grand Theft Auto VI trailer with dirty crypto watermarks, which quickly spread online.
The real article was published early by Rockstar, who lamented, “Our trailer has leaked, so please watch the real thing on YouTube.”
The official trailer is great and doesn’t surprise anyone; GTA VI will be amazing. Fans are thrilled to see the long-awaited successor to Grand Theft Auto V, but at least one developer is furious. It’s unfortunate to see another leak on GTA VI’s release day after one this week.
Senior gameplay animator Javier Altman said, “This f***ing sucks.” Altman added that he was “hoping to watch this for the first time tomorrow along with my fellow teammates and coworkers.” Facing frustration, Altman wrote, “We deserved that moment. Our work makes me proud. Enjoy the trailer, everyone.”
Altman wrote an hour after the trailer was released (thanks, VGC) and the leaked video was removed: “Crying with joy at the response. I can’t believe I’m involved.”
Think about this unfortunate series of events. Does the official GTA VI trailer live up to expectations?
