Fans believe that now that Capcom has finished its remake of the classic Resident Evil 4, it will either move on to Dino Crisis or return to its survival horror franchise by remaking Code: Veronica X. We polled your opinions on what you think Capcom should do next over the weekend via Push Square and got almost 4,000 responses. Dino Crisis (also from the PS1) and Resident Evil Code: Veronica X (also from the PS1) were resounding successes.

The following are the responses to the question, “What Game Should Capcom Remake Next?”

  1. Dino Crisis — 1,091 votes
  2. Resident Evil Code: Veronica X — 1,042 votes
  3. Resident Evil (1996) — 455 votes
  4. Resident Evil 5 — 420 votes
  5. Onimusha — 174 votes
  6. Dead Rising — 128 votes
  7. Breath of Fire — 114 votes
  8. Lost Planet — 79 votes
  9. Resident Evil 0 — 75 votes

Fans have been hoping for a new Dino Crisis game for a while now, and for a brief moment they thought they had gotten their wish when Exoprimal was released. Unfortunately, it hasn’t lived up to expectations of being a thrilling action-adventure experience. However, if Capcom were to remake another game, Dino Crisis or Resident Evil Code: Veronica X would be the most likely candidates. Both games would receive a major overhaul, despite their adherence to the same classic gameplay seen in Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3.

It’s possible that Capcom’s upper management will view Resident Evil 5 as a waste of time because of how closely it resembles modern video games. What do you think of the results of our Poll?

Diablo 4’s post-launch support will keep you playing for years, according to Blizzard. General manager Rod Fergusson confirmed two expansions and free content updates.

“As I sit here, we’re about to launch the main game; we’re finishing up season one; we’re working on season two; we’re working on expansion one; we’re kicking off expansion two,” he told PC Gamer on the Kinda Funny Xcast. These two DLCs may release sooner than expected. Fergusson says the live service model lets Blizzard release content faster than Diablo III.

With tens of hours of content in the base game, Diablo 4 is massive. This could be Destiny 2 or Genshin Impact, with seasons and DLC. That thought excites or frightens you. Leave a comment and check out our Diablo 4 guide for help with the PS5 and PS4 games.
