The Outer Worlds Remaster for PS5 Next Week with DualSense Support and Improvements
PS5’s Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition was announced. This “remaster” of the 2019 role-playing game has “better graphics, enhanced performance, new animations, higher-res environments, and more.” With a higher player level maximum, you can diversify your build further.
This re-release will use DualSense’s haptic feedback and adaptive triggers on Sony’s current-gen platform.
Spacer’s Choice Edition comes next week, on March 7, and PS4 owners of The Outer Worlds and its expansions, Murder on Eridanos and Danger on Gorgon, can upgrade at a “reduced price.”

The latest trailer for Sony Pictures Entertainment’s CGI film Resident Evil: Death Island, released July 25, features the outlandish action and melodrama that made the franchise a cult sensation.
This Resident Evil Avengers-esque team-up features Leon S. Kennedy, Jill Valentine, Chris Redfield, Claire Redfield, and Rebecca Chambers.
The T-Virus and killer whales take the gang to Alcatraz in San Francisco Bay, where a new nightmare awaits. In magnificent slow motion and with progressively heavier ordinance, the Dream Team will supposedly destroy zombies, Lickers, mutant orcas, and anything else foolish or nasty enough to stand in their path.
Sony’s PS5 firmware update is everyone’s favorite news story. It’s been a while, but don’t get too excited—this is just a minor one. No biggie.
PS5 system software 23.01-07.40.00 does what? Latest firmware patch notes:
- System software performance and stability increased.
- We improved screen messaging and usability.
That’s it! Sony’s definition of “some screens” is unclear, but perhaps it improves communications. PS5 messages weren’t a problem, though. The update is barely over 1GB, so updating your console won’t take long.

“Regarding remakes of previous games in the series other than Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, we will listen to player demand and consider accordingly,” a Konami official told IGN.
Konami explained that “we chose Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater because it depicts the birth of Big Boss (Naked Snake), which is the starting point of the Metal Gear series.” Fans wishing it would last forever contributed.
Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, yes? Maybe you’ll buy another disc to show Konami you’ll pay again?
