The Super Mario Maker 1.20 update adds a new features in the 100 Mario Challenge which allows players to speed up the sequences happening at the beginning of a run, when Peach gets carried off, and between courses by pressing the A button.
The new Super Mario Maker update has also added a new Easter Egg related to checkpoints. When moving past a checkpoint when the course has been completed, sometimes doves will fly from it. It doesn’t happen too often so you may have to get past checkpoints multiple times to check out the new easter egg.
Earlier this week a Super Mario Maker player has discovered a way to center bigger enemies on single tiles. To do so players have to place a smaller enemy first, then stack the bigger enemy on it and then place a fireball in place of the smaller enemy. As nothing can be stacked on fireballs, it’s possible to delete the fireball and keep the bigger enemy centered. This technique can also be used in reverse to place smaller enemies between tiles.
