Unlike several other role playing games developed by Monolith Soft, Xenoblade Chronicles X allows players to create their own characters. Some may not like this approach, as it can make the main character feel somewhat detached from the story and events, but others will definitely be please to create a unique character that they will also be able to use in the game’s online mode.
If you’re part of the latter group of players and want to learn more about the character creation features, you will be happy to know that a new Xenoblade Chronicles X gameplay video has surfaced online earlier today, showcasing the male character creation. As expected, there are a lot of options that will allow players to create characters with unique appearances. The tattoo options also seem quite extensive, something that’s not too common. You can check out the new video by going at the end of this post.
Xenoblade Chronicles X has been released earlier today in Japan but more news on the game have emerged a few days back thanks to the first review of the game. The Japanese magazine Famitsu reviewed Xenoblade Chronicles X in last week’s issue, awarding the game a 34/40 score. Even though the game hasn’t managed to score more, the four reviewers have really enjoyed the game, praising the exploration and combat features.
Now that Xenoblade Chronicles X is out in Japan, Nintendo can finally start focusing on promoting the game in North America and Europe. A new English presentation has been aired last week and more will surely come in the near future as well as the announcement of the Western release date.
Xenoblade Chronicles X is now available in Japan exclusively on Wii U. The game has been confirmed for North America and Europe but a precise release date has yet to be confirmed.
