Back when Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden, the new Dragon Ball video game launching next month in Japan exclusively on Nintendo 3DS, was announced fighting game fans all over the world were happy to learn that the game was being developed by Arc System Works. The team is well known all over the world for their excellent 2D fighting games such as the Guilty Gear and BlazBlue games and the fact that they were developing the new Dragon Ball game meant that it would feature plenty of interesting gameplay mechanics that could be used to perform some devastating combos.
A new Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden gameplay video has surfaced online a few hours ago, showcasing Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Goku and some of the complex combos he will be able to perform thanks to several gameplay mechanics. Other characters like Trunks and Ginyu are also shown in the video.Needless to say, the game looks incredible so make sure to watch the full video if you’re a fan of the Dragon Ball series.
Earlier this week, the full Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden character roster has been fully detailed by V-Jump magazine. The roster includes several fan favorite characters as well as others who don’t appear too often in Dragon Ball Z games. Several other characters will also be available as assist characters such as Chi-Chi, Bulma and many others.
Some new Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden gameplay details have emerged online last week. According to Shonen Jump magazine, not all playable and assist characters will be available from the beginning of the game. The full roster will only be available after unlocking all characters by playing and completing missions included in Adventure Mode.
