Fire Emblem Fates, the new entry of the series released in Japan as Fire Emblem If last month, is the only entry of the Fire Emblem franchise to feature multiple story scenarios sporting different characters, battles, maps and more. Two of these scenarios are included in the basic versions of the game while the third one, called Invisible Kingdom, is only available as DLC.
The Fire Emblem Fates third story scenario has finally been released on the Japanese eShop earlier this week and some players have managed to play through it fully. If you’re among those who have played through the scenario but didn’t understand much of it or simply want to learn more about it, you may want to check out the English Story Summary which has been shared by Kantopia recently. This summary includes spoilers, obviously, so avoid reading it fully if you don’t want to get the story ruined.
The Fire Emblem Fates Invisible Kingdom DLC scenario has received a brand new trailer earlier this week. The scenario is quite unique, as the game’s main characters don’t align with any of the two other kingdoms, something that opens up some interesting story possibilities.
This week’s issue of Famitsu included a handy Fire Emblem Fates skills guide. The skill system included in the new entry of the series works somewhat differently from the previous entry of the series so this guide is really useful for all those who need help in creating the most powerful units possible.
Fire Emblem Fates is going to be released sometime next year in North America and Europe exclusively on Nintendo 3DS as two different versions, which include a different story path with different enemies, maps, characters and more. More on the Western version of the game will surely be coming soon so stay tuned for all the latest news on the new entry of the successful Fire Emblem series.
