New amiibo figures are always around the corner and today Nintendo has confirmed the release date for the next set of figures of the Super Smash Bros line and more in North America.
In a new press release, Nintendo has confirmed that the Zero Suit Samus, Olimar, Dr. Mario, Bowser Junior, Ganondorf and Super Mario Maker amiibo figures will be released in North America on September 11th. Details on availability and pre-order schedules will be announced directly by various retailers in the near future. Nintendo has also confirmed that the Duch Hunt, R.O.B. and Mr. Game & Watch Retro 3 pack will be released on September 25th.
Nintendo has also talked about the announced Mii Fighters figures. The Japanese company has confirmed that the Mii Fighters amiibo figures will be released sometime this November as a 3 pack and not this September as previously announced.
Two days ago it’s been confirmed that a new amiibo pre-order event will be held in GameStop stores in the US this weekend. During the event customers will be able to pre-order the already mentioned 3 pack which includes the Duck Hunt, R.O.B. and Mr. Game & Watch amiibo figures. To pre-order the pack, which will be released next month, customers will have to put down at least $5
Last month a new amiibo rumor has started circulating online. According to a reliable source which already leaked correct info on another Nintendo product, the Mewtwo amiibo is going to be released in North America on October 23rd. Nintendo has yet to talk about the matter so we have no idea at the moment if this release date is indeed the real one.
More on upcoming amiibo releases and restocks are always coming and we will keep you updated on them as soon as possible so stay tuned for all the latest news on the successful Nintendo figures.
