Tales of Zestiria has been released earlier this year on PlayStation 3 in Japan so there’s very little we don’t know about the game’s characters and gameplay mechanics. What we don’t know is how the PlayStation 4 and PC versions will run, as they haven’t been released in Japan. Today, we can finally check out how the PlayStation 4 version will run with new off-screen gameplay videos.
The new Tales of Zestiria gameplay videos showcase sequences found at the beginning of the game so you can check out the video without worrying about major spoilers. The PlayStation 4 version does look better than the PlayStation 3 one, with better colors being noticeable less washed out. Unfortunately we still don’t know if this version of the game will run in 60 FPS or 30 like the PlayStation 3 release. You can check out the videos right below.
Tales of Zestiria is going to receive a Collector’s Edition in both North America and Europe. The North American Collector’s Edition will include a limited SteelBook, the Dawn of the Shepard Anime Blu-Ray, Hardcover Artbook, a Special Selection Music CD, the 8-bit Retro Keychains, the Chibi Kyun Chara Figure set and the Collector’s Edition DLC pack.
The PC version of Tales of Zestiria isn’t going to get a Collector’s Edition but it may get a pre-order bonus that won’t be offered for the console versions. If the Steam pre-orders manage to reach the final tier before release, all those who have pre-ordered the game will receive a free copy of the PC port of Tales of Symphonia, launching early next year on Steam.
Tales Of Zestiria is now available on PlayStation 3 in Japan. The game will be released this October on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PC in North America and Europe. More on the Western release of the game will surely come in soon so stay tuned for all the latest news
