Super Mario Maker is almost upon us and fans of the Super Mario series are getting ready to create their own stages and share them with other fans all over the world. Unfortunately there is no playable demo available on the eShop but if you’re lucky enough to live close to any Target store, you might be able to get a taste of the game before its official release.
According to online reports, a Super Mario Maker playable demo is now available in select Target stores. According to one report in particular, the demo allows players to create stages just like in the final version of the game. This demo is not really the best way to experience Super Mario Maker, as any created stage is going to be lost, but it’s definitely good enough for those who want to get an idea on how the game works.
Yesterday a new Super Mario Maker commercial has surfaced online. The short video showcased a tricky underwater stage created with the game requiring quite a bit of skill to complete. Another Super Mario Maker trailer has been made available last week. This trailer showcased the four different game styles included in Super Mario Maker – the Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario World and New Super Mario Bros U. styles. The four styles come not only with different graphics but also with different power-ups and mechanics.
