Mario Kart 8 is without a doubt of the best Wii U games released in recent times. In the new entry of the series, Nintendo has managed to further refine the gameplay formula, offering an experience that both veterans and newcomers can enjoy right from the start.
If you have yet to play this excellent game and want to get it in the near future, you may want to take advantage of a really good deal that is now available online. Retailer Target is currently offering Mario Kart 8 for $41.99 instead of $59.99. The price reduction isn’t all that big but it’s definitely better than nothing, considering how Nintendo titles hardly drop in price.
Another Mario Kart series deal is also available on Target today. The Nintendo 3DS entry of the series, Mario Kart 7, is also available for purchase for a reduced price.
Mario Kart 8 has been released on Wii U last year and has received plenty of extra content through free updates and paid DLC packs. One of the latest free updates introduced a new 200cc class which forces players to approach each track differently due to the higher speed. The two paid DLC packs, released last year and a few months back respectively, adds several new tracks, characters and vehicles, further expanding the already extensive experience of the game. If you also own amiibo figures, you can use them to unlock special costumes that cannot be unlocked in any other way.
Mario Kart 8 is now available in all regions exclusively on Wii U. The two DLC packs are also available for purchase right now on the Wii U eShop in all regions. The Target deal may not be available for much longer so make sure to take advantage of it as soon as possible if you have yet to play one of the best Wii U exclusive titles ever released.
