Grand Theft Auto V

Grand Theft Auto V, the latest entry of the series developed by Rockstar Games, has been released almost two years ago on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 before receiving a PC release and enhanced ports on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. As the game managed to become incredibly successful on old gen consoles, there are quite a few players who have only played the original Grand Theft Auto V PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 releases. If you live in Europe and have played Grand Theft Auto V on your PSN account, you might be able to purchase the PlayStation 4 version of the game for a reduced price in the near future.

NeoGAF forum member PodcastFips has recently received a “personalized” Grand Theft Auto V PlayStation 4 discount code for having played Grand Theft Auto V PlayStation 3. The code will allow players to purchase the PS4 version with a 33% off its full price which is definitely nice, considering the game is still being sold at full price by most European retailers. As it would make very little sense to send a promo code to a single player, there’s a good chance that more codes will be sent out to others soon.

On a related note, earlier today it’s been confirmed that a new Grand Theft Auto Online update is going to be released soon on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Among the new features that will be introduced by the new update is the Rockstar Editor and the brand new freemode events which will further expand the Grand Theft Auto Online experience. These new features will take advantage of the new consoles’ hardware and thus will not be introduced to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game. The new Grand Theft Auto Online update will be released next week, on September 15th, on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

Grand Theft Auto V is now available on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC. The new Grand Theft Auto Online update will be released next week on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

Want Diablo 4 immortality? Hardcore Level 100 Before Most Others

The devilish launch of Diablo 4 is days away (less for Ultimate Edition buyers). Blizzard has promised the ultimate reward for the first 1000 players to accomplish level 100 on Hardcore Mode: a statue of in-game antagonist Lillith.

Diablo 4’s Hardcore Mode is a character-creation-only difficulty adjuster. It automatically deletes characters when they die, making things infinitely harder regardless of World Tier. But 100? That’s several playthroughs on increasingly difficult World Tiers with new adversaries in harsher setups and about 150 hours of flawlessly rapid gameplay.

Honoring the dying.

Being remembered with those brave souls lost on the journey is the ultimate gamer boast. Do you dare?

Bloober Team’s survival horror game Layers of Fear is terrifying. The Trophy List on Exophase just appeared, and players will have to go crazy to obtain Platinum.

With a Silver Trophy like “a new way” requiring players to “live through the third conversation” (and a few of Bronzes for surviving the previous two) and another called “face your fears” appearing when you “see your enemy and fail”, we might chase this one with the lights on.

Do you like Layers of Fear’s whole trophy list? Do you want the Plat?

The PlayStation Showcase, which divided fans and prompted our full-throated Reaction, was a ratings winner. Gamesight’s number crunchers found that PlayStation fans were drawn in by the appeal alone, even though many of the titles we wanted to see didn’t show up.

It’s possible certain Showcase games were withheld. Summer Game Fest may bring something? Watched the big spectacle live?
