Ryu Amiibo

A few months ago Nintendo confirmed that all Super Smash Bros DLC characters will be getting their own amiibo figure in the future. The first DLC character released for the game, Mewtwo, has received its figure this month in North America  and soon collectors will be able to purchase the Roy, Lucas and Ryu amiibo figures. We still don’t know precisely when some of these figures will be released in North America and if there will be store exclusive amiibo figures but today an image showcasing the Ryu amiibo has surfaced online.

The image, which has been shared online by Amiibo Alerts, has been taken from a Toys’R’Us promotional display in Texas. You can check out the Ryu Amiibo right below.

Earlier this week it’s been confirmed that the 30th Anniversary Modern Color Mario figure will be made available outside the Super Mario Maker bundle in North America later this month, on November 26th. As revealed by a flyer, this figure will be a Walmart exclusive amiibo.

A few days ago Nintendo of Japan revealed a very nice Animal Crossing amiibo diorama which will be made available soon in Japan alongside the Wii U exclusive Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival and new Animal Crossing amiibo figures. The diorama won’t be available for purchase by itself, as it will be given for free to those who purchase Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival and 2 amiibo figures or Animal Crossing: Amiibo festival, 1 figure and 1 pack of amiibo cards in Japan. There are currently no news on the possible Western release of this diorama.

News on upcoming amiibo figures, including the Ruy amiibo, and restocks of older figures are constantly coming in. We will keep you updated on the Nintendo successful figures as soon as more comes in on them so stay tuned for all the latest news.
