Just Cause 3

Just Cause 3 has been released a few days ago in all regions. While the game doesn’t suffer from any game breaking issues, it is still plagued by a variety of issues on all platforms that have yet to be fixed. Avalanche is currently gathering feedback and working on an upcoming patch but a release date or even just a release window have yet to be confirmed. Thankfully some dedicated players have discovered a workaround for one of the issues plaguing the PlayStation 4 version of the game.

Just Cause 3 on PlayStation 4 sometimes takes more than 20 seconds to load but there’s a way to make the game load in a faster way with a simple trick. When load times are too long, players can press the PS Button on the Dual Shock 4, select another game, choose not to close Just Cause 3 and resume it. This should make the game load almost instantly. While this workaround is far from being a definite fix, it definitely makes the long load times issue more bearable on this specific version of the game.

Being an open world game, Just Cause 3 is filled with secrets and Easter Eggs. Last week a new Easter Egg has been discovered, a secret which allows players to use a Pogo Stick to move around. Another Just Cause 3 Easter Egg has been discovered not too long ago, a Dark Souls series Easter Egg which should bring a smile to all fans of the From Software action role playing game series.

Just Cause 3 is now available in all regions on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. We will keep you updated on the game’s future patches as soon as more comes in on them so stay tuned for all the latest news on Avalanche’s latest open world game.

The devilish launch of Diablo 4 is days away (less for Ultimate Edition buyers). Blizzard has promised the ultimate reward for the first 1000 players to accomplish level 100 on Hardcore Mode: a statue of in-game antagonist Lillith.

Diablo 4’s Hardcore Mode is a character-creation-only difficulty adjuster. It automatically deletes characters when they die, making things infinitely harder regardless of World Tier. But 100? That’s several playthroughs on increasingly difficult World Tiers with new adversaries in harsher setups and about 150 hours of flawlessly rapid gameplay.

Honoring the dying.

Being remembered with those brave souls lost on the journey is the ultimate gamer boast. Do you dare?

Bloober Team’s survival horror game Layers of Fear is terrifying. The Trophy List on Exophase just appeared, and players will have to go crazy to obtain Platinum.

With a Silver Trophy like “a new way” requiring players to “live through the third conversation” (and a few of Bronzes for surviving the previous two) and another called “face your fears” appearing when you “see your enemy and fail”, we might chase this one with the lights on.

Do you like Layers of Fear’s whole trophy list? Do you want the Plat?

The PlayStation Showcase, which divided fans and prompted our full-throated Reaction, was a ratings winner. Gamesight’s number crunchers found that PlayStation fans were drawn in by the appeal alone, even though many of the titles we wanted to see didn’t show up.

It’s possible certain Showcase games were withheld. Summer Game Fest may bring something? Watched the big spectacle live?
