PQube has announced that the pixel thriller called STAY will be releasing soon, coming to both PlayStation 4 and Switch this summer. The game is already available on Xbox One and PC, though the exact release dates for the new platforms haven’t been announced yet. You can check out the new announcement trailer below.
STAY is certainly a unique game, not only in its presentation but also in its gameplay. Players are tasked with interacting with a therapist named Quinn that is trapped inside of a small room with nothing but a computer. His only interaction with the outside world is via a chat room with the player, with the player attempting to guide him out of this unfortunate situation. The choices you make will ultimately decide whether or not the therapist lives or dies.
When you’re not interacting with Quinn he will move around the room and do some investigating on his own. While you can micromanage his every move, it is also possible to let him act on his own and simply keep him company. However, this could result in good or bad outcomes. The player will also have some puzzles to solve, which also could end fatally for Quinn.
An official release date for STAY on PS4 and Switch has not yet been released, but we’ll keep you updated on that front. Be sure to check out the announcement trailer below.
