Games as a source of both entertainment and competition have been around for centuries. It’s in us to want some form of entertainment from time to time, while our innate need to survive makes us automatically competitive. I think the moment when I got to really analyze the role games play in our lives was after watching the 2018 thriller and fantasy movie by filmmaker Steven Spielberg. The movie “Ready Player One,” takes us on a journey to a dystopian setting, a world where games are an intricate part of society’s survival.

Like the revolution witnessed in various sectors, the gaming world too has changed a lot. The gaming fraternity is probably among the sectors that have witnessed major technological advancements. However, the development isn’t without its shortcomings. Top among them rising cases of addiction, and the spike in costs. If you truly want a magical experience playing games you have to be willing to meet the high costs of doing so. If we’re being frank, gaming equipment isn’t cheap – you literary get what you pay for in this world. So, if you want the best, be willing to pay the price, but there’s a slight twist to that. There are ways to build a fantastic gaming room with the help of coupons and discounts and I’ll show you just how to can do so.

Perfect Timing

When it comes to getting the best games and gaming equipment, timing is everything. That implies you have to be alert for when the latest release is announced. Sadly, that also means that you have to be ready with the cash and more than often lots of it. So, to beat the high costs, try being alert for something else too – discounts and coupons. During the release, some gaming companies will offer excellent discounts while coupons are used to market them. You’ll probably find the coupons in newspapers, magazines, websites or in your mail among others.

Most of the time, these discounts and coupons only work for a specified period, which means if you delay you probably won’t get to enjoy them at all. Equipping your gaming room at the items buying price will cost you a fortune but with the discounts and coupons, you’ll get to save enough to buy other things you may need.

Gaming Equipment

Taking a shortcut when buying gaming equipment and other electronics might seem okay, but in truth, it will be a waste on your part. Gaming machines have to be high performing and capable of withstanding “the pressure”. Well, getting such machinery is no mean feat especially if you’re cash strapped. Luckily, there are alternatives on the market. With a bit of research, you’ll likely find other high-performance PCs which are probably on a discount or are offering coupons. So stay alert to take advantage of such. Be open-minded when getting gaming equipment, you don’t have to stick to what is known. However, be careful not to buy underperforming items. Carefully analyze the specs.

Getting Comfortable

So, you’ve bought your PC and other gaming equipment. You have probably concluded that you’re good to go but is that really enough? Sadly no, this is especially because your health is put at risk. There are ergonomic factors to consider. You’ll need a cozy, well supportive chair, table, and other furniture. Whether you find yourself on the bed or sofa they have to be comfortable and kind on your back. Well, that’s unless you want to develop neck, spinal or shoulder problems.

Your gaming room will require the best furniture and they can be a tad expensive. Discounts and coupons are the best way to go. Several times in a year, furniture companies will offer coupons and discounts. Examples include during holidays, weekends and clearance sales among others. Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and President’s Day are among the holidays when furniture prices are significantly discounted. So, have the cash stand by for such sales to create the perfect gaming with the best furniture available. The #1 Novosbed Coupon company is an example of such coupons and discounts.

There you go. You’re now an owner of a complete gaming room thanks to the use of coupons and discounts. It’s really all about being alert and having the cash ready for when the offers are released.

Who doesn’t enjoy listening to a good story. Personally I love reading about the people who inspire me and what it took for them to achieve their success. As I am a bit of a self confessed tech geek I think there is no better way to discover these stories than by reading every day some articles or the newspaper . My bookcases are filled with good tech biographies, they remind me that anyone can be a success. So even if you come from an underprivileged part of society or you aren’t the smartest person in the room we all have a chance to reach the top. The same message shines in my beliefs. All it takes to succeed is a good idea, a little risk and a lot of hard work and any geek can become a success. VENI VIDI VICI .

Ubisoft says that future Assassin’s Creed games will need more time to be made

As Assassin’s Creed Shadows is about to sneak up on people in November, Ubisoft says that the time between developing games needs to be longer to find the “right balance.” Shadows has been in development for four years, longer than any other game in the series up to this point. That includes the huge open-world epics Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

Shadows lead producer Karl Onnée (thanks, GamesIndustry.biz) says that the latest AC game took 25% longer to make than Valhalla. He says this is necessary to keep the quality of the series that it is known for: “It’s always a balance between time and costs, but the more time you have, the more you can iterate.” You can speed up a project by adding more people to it, but that doesn’t give you more time to make changes.

Onnée says this has as much to do with immersion and aesthetics as it does with fixing bugs and smoothing out pixels. This is because the development team needs time to learn about each new historical setting: “We are trying to make a game that is as real as possible.” We’re proud of it, and the process took a long time. In feudal Japan, building a house is very different from building a house in France or England in the Middle Ages. As an artist, you need to learn where to put things in a feudal Japanese home. For example, food might not belong there. Get all the information you need and learn it. That process takes a long time.”

You’ll have to wait a little longer for Ubisoft to work on each game. Are you okay with that? In what part of Shadows are you now? Is it interesting to you? Leave a comment below and let us know.

You can now pre-order Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP, a remaster that Dragami Games and Capcom both created. You can now pre-order the PS5 game on the PS Store for $44.99 or £39.99. If you have PS Plus, you can get an extra 10% off the price.

The company put out a new trailer with about three minutes of gameplay to mark the start of the pre-order period. Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP is a remaster of Grasshopper Manufacture’s crazy action game from 2012. You play as Juliet, a high school student who fights off waves of zombies.

The remaster adds RePOP mode, an alternative mode that swaps out the blood and gore for fun visual effects. It also adds a bunch of other features and improvements that make the game better overall. You can expect the graphics and sound to be better as well.

The game will now come out on September 12, 2024, instead of September 12, 2024. Are you excited to get back to this? Please cheer us on in the section below.

This Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 zombies trailer is way too expensive

Is there really anyone who is following the story of Call of Duty’s zombie mode? We’ve known about the story in a vague way for a while, but we couldn’t tell you anything about it. It looks like the “Dark Aether” story will continue in Black Ops 6, but we don’t really know what that means.

For those of you who care, here is the official blurb with some background: “Requiem, led by the CIA, finally closed the last-dimensional portal, sending its inhabitants back to the nightmare world known as the Dark Aether, after two years of fighting zombie outbreaks around the world during the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War timeline.”

Wait, there’s more! “Agent Samantha Maxis gave her life to seal this weird dimension from the inside out.” Even worse things were to come: senior staff members of Requiem were arrested without a reason by the Project Director, who turned out to be Edward Richtofen.

Black Ops 6 will take place about five years later, and it looks like it will show more about Richtofen’s goals and motivations. The most important thing is that you will probably be shooting an unimaginable number of zombies in the head. This week, on August 8, there will be a full reveal of the gameplay, so keep an eye out for that.
