Bioware has made sure there is an official place to share your specific created Ryder for Mass Effect: Andromeda. One of the many things that the sci-fi, RPG, space opera does well is the character creation. All three previous games in the series had an in-depth scope for you to truly tailor your own Shepard, man or woman. Naturally, the Ryder twins that act as protagonists this time around will be no different. You can expect to make the brother or sister into an irresistible hunk or someone who looks like a Krogan.
Some people were so proud of their creations that they uploaded screenshots of their Shepards everywhere. A simple Google search will show you what I mean. However, this time around Bioware has created a hub for players to upload their chiseled hero. You can check it out for yourself by clicking here. You’ll be able to send your Ryder, in-game, to the site, browse other Ryders, and even select which appearance you’d like to use for the very next playthrough. Quite cool if you ask me.
At the moment the hub is in beta stages and doesn’t have an ability to log-in yet. We assume the floodgates will open when Mass Effect: Andromeda launches on March 21st. In the meantime, there are a few examples of pre-built Ryders to peruse and that one with blue hair looks like quite the keeper.
What plans do you have for your first playthrough’s Ryder? Will it be a man or woman and will you make it look like you? Let us know in the comments below!
