Kingdom Hearts Gets Its Own Pandora Station for a Week

Kingdom Hearts Gets Its Own Pandora Station for a Week

One of the most popular, radio-listening services will pay tribute to the beloved Kingdom Hearts series. Pandora has added its own Kingdom Hearts station that is live right now until April 18th. Expect a lot of KH 1.5/2.5 Remix ads since that just came out late last month. I won’t hold you up any longer if you want to check it out though. Click here to be taken to the aforementioned station.

So far the featured station has been a disappointment for me. Those expecting to hear the amazing work of Kingdom Hearts composer, Yoko Shimomura, at random are in for a rude awakening. The Pandora playlist only seems to be tracks from a Disney movie, a remix of some kind by current/former Disney Channel stars, or anything with a pop-like beat to it. I haven’t come across an original game soundtrack piece yet.

So what could have been a great dedication to fans ends in dismay. After all does anyone think of Sia or B5 when they reminiscence about Kingdom Hearts? Whether it was Disney, Square Enix, or Pandora to blame, fix this! However, if you come across any original KH pieces let us know! It may be worth sitting through all the non-related fluff.

Will you be listening to the new Pandora station or are you a little disappointed like me? Do you think of Sia or B5 when you play Kingdom Hearts? Will you hold out hope that the game’s soundtrack will make an appearance? Let us know in the comments below!
