Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden, the fighting game based on the popular manga and anime series launching later this month on Nintendo 3DS in Japan, has received some new screenshots today.
The new screenshots, available at the end of this post, showcase some of the game’s characters, menus and more. The new screenshots’ quality isn’t exactly the best but it’s more than enough to see how the game will look on the actual console.
Last week, a new Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden TV commercial has surfaced online. The video is a rather short one featuring some really quick gameplay sequences and two boys transforming into their favorite heroes. A longer Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden gameplay video has also surfaced online last week, showcasing Vegeta and Majin Buu as well as several assist characters included in the game, characters that can help players keep the combo going with some special attacks.
All those with a Japanese 3DS can download a Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden playable demo right now. The demo features playable characters Goku, Kid Gohan, Vegeta, and Majin Buu, and support characters Tien, Recoome, Korin, Turtle, Super Uub, Mercenary Tao, Hercule, and The Great Saiyaman. All those who will keep the demo’s save data on their consoles will also be able to unlock the playable character Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Goku in the full game. As the game hasn’t been announced for North America and Europe, the demo is not available in these regions’ eShops.
Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden will be released next week, on June 11th, exclusively on Nintendo 3DS in Japan. The game has yet to receive a Western release date but we will let you know more about the matter as soon as more comes in on it so stay tuned for all the latest news on Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden.
