JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven, the new game based on the series created by Hirohiko Araki currently in development for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, is only one of the many video games based on anime and manga series that will launch this year. Considering how the series hasn’t received all that many games in recent years, fans of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure are anxious to know more about the game and its playable characters.
More news on the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven playable character has emerged online a few hours ago thanks to this week’s issue of Shonen Jump magazine. This week the magazine has shared more information on playable characters Avdol and Mariah as well as on the Cairo’s Rooftop stage. You can check out the translated scan by going here.
Last week a new JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven trailer has been made available online. The trailer showcased several playable characters as well as gameplay mechanics, which will be quite different from the ones included in the previous JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure game developed by CyberConnect 2.
Last week it’s also been confirmed that a new JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven playable demo is going to be released soon on the Japanese PlayStation Store. The demo will include several playable characters including Jonathan Joestar and Dio Brando from Part 2, Jotaro Kujo from Part 3 and others. Some of these characters, alongside others, have also been showcased in a previous batch of screenshots released last month.
JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven will release in Japan later this year on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 but a precise release date has yet to be confirmed. A Western release has yet to be confirmed but there’s a good chance the game will eventually launch in North America and Europe, considering the latest JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure game, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle, has been released in both regions sometime after the game launched in Japan.
