Earlier this month the official amiibo website revealed that the Palutena amiibo, one of the two Super Smash Bros. line amiibo figures launching this month in the US, is going to be released on July 31st alongside the Dark Pit amiibo. As the site didn’t list any store exclusivity, many though that the amiibo would be available in all stores. Unfortunately this won’t be the case.
It’s been confirmed a few minutes ago that the Palutena amiibo is going to be an Amazon exclusive for the US. The figure’s listing is already available on the retailer’s website and you can find it by going here.
Last week Nintendo was among the video games publishers that attended the San Diego Comic-Con 2015. The Japanese company not only showed some of its upcoming games but also several figures that will be released in the future such as the Animal Crossing, Super Mario Maker figures and many others. The Mewtwo amiibo was also among the showcased figures and a bunch of high quality pictures have been made available online yesterday, showcasing the figure in greater detail.
Last week several amiibo figures have become available once again by a couple of retailers in the US. The Marth, Rosalina, Jigglypuff, Wii Fit Trainer, Charizard and Wario figures have been made available again in Best Buy stores while the Ness and King Dedede figures in several GameStop stores. More restocks will surely become available in the future by retailers and we will keep you updated on them as soon as possible.
