Monster Hunter X New Screenshots Showcase Monster Dinovaldo And More
Monster Hunter X, the new entry of the Monster Hunter series launching this Winter on Nintendo 3DS in Japan, has been revealed a couple of months back and not much is currently known about the game, other than the fact that it will include some new features that will make the experience feel fresh when compared to previous entries.
More Monster Hunter X gameplay footage has yet to surface online but today fans of the series have something to be happy about, as Capcom released a new batch of Monster Hunter X screenshots showcasing one of the main monsters of the game called Dinovaldo, the new Ancient Forest area and more. You can find the new screenshots right below.
Yesterday it’s been confirmed that more Monster Hunter X gameplay footage is going to be made available next week during the Monster Hunter Summer 2015 Special, which will be aired on July 20th. The event not only will cover Monster Hunter X but also other entries of the series such as Monster Hunter Spirits and Monster Hunter Diary how the save data from each game can unlock content in the others.
While Japanese gamers are anticipating Monster Hunter X, North American and European ones are still enjoying Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate and its monthly free DLC packs, which include new weapons, armor sets, Palico items, quests and much more. Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate is already a massive game and the new content that gets release every month for the game manages to make it even more massive.
Monster Hunter X will be released on a yet to be confirmed release date in Japan on Nintendo 3DS. A Western release has yet to be confirmed but we will keep you updated on the matter as soon as possible so stay tuned for all the latest news on the game.
Sonic Frontier’s third and final free DLC update, The Final Horizon, is frustrating some players with its difficulty. Some say it’s Sonic’s hardest gameplay ever.
Many players complained about this unexpected difficulty spike in a 12-page GameFaqs forum post called “This DLC is way too hard” (thanks VGC). One of the main complaints about Sonic Frontiers was that it was too easy, and Team Sonic overcorrected, which makes it surprising.
Final Horizon, the last free update, let players play as Tails, Knuckles, and Amy and complete a variety of optional challenges, which is the challenge. Many are breaking down after a vertigo-inducing tower that requires pixel-perfect platforming without checkpoints, apparently inspired by viral Twitch hit Only Up!
